We gathered today to say hello to Gunner one final time.

March 30: french braid

First time with a french braid.
Not too bad for braiding a moving target.

Myles is trying to figure out the crawling thing.
He's really good at going backward.  Nora is just doing
her part.

Dan had a perfect eastern bracket this year.
Pretty impressive.

March 23: finished product

Fresh coat of paint and the room looks great.
Now I'm finally ready to get something on the wall.

March 22: painting

Repainting the bedroom while Dan is away at training.
Will he notice?

Got to snuggle with my little girl outside
while she enjoyed a bedtime snack. 

March 19: trains

I took Nora to the train stop during "rush hour" this
morning.  A train every 5-10 minutes.  A big deal for a girl
who loves trains.
She'd say, "hi train" and "bye train" the entire time.
Loved it.

March 18: watching myself

I know this is kind of an odd picture but I had to include it.
We put the iPad up so he could see himself in a video.
He thought it was pretty neat - talked quite a bit to himself.

March 17: look alike

These two handsome men were watching Missy Mo
go down the slide at the park.  I'm sometimes amazed
at how much the little man can look like his Daddy.

March 16: spring in bloom

So nice to finally see the colors once spring is here.

March 15: zzzz...

He thought he was ready to wake up bright and
early at 5am. but when tummy time rolled around,
he zonked out quickly.

Trees budding early this year thanks to the marvelous weather.

Saw American Idol season nine
winner, Lee DeWyze, in concert tonight.
Impressed.  Sounds great live. 

March 9: going up

Gas prices on the rise.
We are now officially over $4.00 a gallon.

March 8: sale!

While grocery shopping today, I
spotted the deal of the century!

I can't help but wonder if even the birds were hoping
for some leaves for shade when the weather was
so hot.

I think he's trying to multitask - putting
a toy in his mouth so both hands are still
free to do other things.
